Just watched another game to movie creation or should I say Disaster; Far Cry (yes by Uwe Boll) and here is what I have to say in a short but to the point to point mini review:
First of all I only played the game once and only went up-to a few levels… so I have no clue how the game is and what happened through out it.. all I know is the character Jack is on an island and its only himself VS whatever the hell lurks around him.
The first thoughts that popped into my head:
“Uwe Boll Killed Far Cry.. This Movie sucks so hard and looks like it was filmed on an cheap/ Abandoned island in Germany.”
The good:
- He wore the same Hawaiian top like the game
- there was lots of explosions
- some camera work was okay
- Gun scenes where somewhat good
- Fight scenes are choreographed good but only Jacks character
The Bad:
- The Hawaiian top is removed 10 mins into the movie.
- Jack is German? (WTF?)
- Did Uwe really just watch Predator, Terminator, and go to a Jon Bon Jovi gig?
- Acting was terrible
- Explosion sounds where the same sound over and over
- Pretty sure that applies to guns
- Story was so dumb a blind idiot with a banana up his ass could of wrote something better
- The Island looked so fake to me, the water was not clear (kind of looked contaminated with something)
- Some scenes really didn’t need to be in the movie
- The music did not fit most scenes
- Almost everyone in the movie sounds like they are from Germany
- The comedy relief (wtf) was super mega annoying and I prayed for him to die and STFU!
Story 1/5 – What a stupid plot.
Acting 1/5 – No talent except for the main stars.
Stunt work 3/5 (I liked Jacks stunt work, the rest felt so :sleep:)
Music 1/5 – Did not even fit the scenes.
